Part of Family Advantage Health Care, Navigating Day Treatment Center provides evidence-based therapeutic services designed to help youth with behavioral and mental health needs build skills, develop stability, and work toward greater independence.
With the addition of the Kannapolis location, the organization now operates two day treatment centers in Cabarrus County, with the other located in Concord.
Supporting Youth Through Structured Care
Navigating Day Treatment Center offers structured therapeutic programming for children and adolescents who need more intensive behavioral health support than traditional outpatient therapy can provide but do not require residential care.
The program bridges the gap between outpatient therapy and residential services, allowing youth to receive consistent support while remaining connected to their families, schools, and communities.
Through therapeutic groups, individual counseling, socialization, and skills-building activities, participants have opportunities to develop healthy coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and work toward personal growth.
A Safe Space for Growth and Independence
The environment plays an important role in the day treatment experience. Navigating’s centers are designed to provide supportive, engaging spaces where youth can focus on therapeutic progress.
With an emphasis on consistency, structure, and safety, the program helps participants build the skills they need to navigate everyday challenges and develop greater independence.
By supporting youth while they remain connected to their existing support systems, Navigating Day Treatment Center works to promote stability and progress beyond the treatment setting.
Expanding Access in Cabarrus County
The opening of the Kannapolis location expands access to day treatment services for local families and strengthens the organization’s presence in Cabarrus County.
As part of Family Advantage Health Care, Navigating Day Treatment Center is among the organization’s services supporting children, adolescents, and families across North Carolina through behavioral health, residential care, and day treatment programs.
With locations now in both Concord and Kannapolis, more youth in the county have access to structured therapeutic support closer to their communities.
