At The Chamber, we understand the importance of building relationships — and how busy life can be. That’s why we offer multiple monthly networking opportunities to help you connect with fellow members in a way that fits your schedule and comfort level. Whether you prefer the energy of a larger gathering or the focused conversation of a smaller group, our networking events are designed to meet you where you are. You’ll find a laid-back, casual atmosphere where authentic connections are the priority.
Network Before Business Hours
Cabarrus Connections offers a more intimate, guided networking experience, typically drawing 20–25 attendees. This event combines open networking with small roundtable discussions, creating a comfortable and conversational environment that facilitates genuine relationships among attendees. Both locations offer the same monthly discussion topic, so you can choose the session that best fits your schedule.

Community Guidelines for a Great Networking Experience
The goal of our events is to create a welcoming and valuable environment where everyone can connect and thrive. To help us ensure our events are beneficial for all, we kindly ask everyone to keep these simple guidelines in mind.

- Connecting with Purpose: We encourage you to form meaningful and lasting connections. When you share business cards or flyers, you are representing your business, and doing so directly with someone you’ve had a genuine conversation with is the most professional approach. To be courteous to our host and maintain a professional atmosphere for everyone, please note that only hosts and sponsors are permitted to display materials on tables or other surfaces.
- Keeping the Focus on Networking: To ensure our events remain a comfortable and enjoyable space for all, we kindly request that all conversations stay focused on professional and business-related topics. For the enjoyment of everyone, we kindly ask that political campaigning, political or social issues, or related discussions be avoided.
- Respecting Our Host: The locations that host our events are generous in providing their space to our organization. Please be respectful of the venue and the time each event ends. Cabarrus Connections ends at 9:30 AM.
- Registering Online: Registering your attendance online is a quick and easy way to help us prepare for each event. It ensures we have an accurate headcount and can give our hosts an idea of what to expect!
- Listening to Announcements: We have some incredible speakers and important announcements at our events. Please be courteous to the speaker by listening quietly during this time so everyone can hear the important news.
- Welcoming Our Guests: We welcome non-members to join us as guests at either one Business After Hours or Cabarrus Connections to preview the benefits of Chamber membership. If you have a guest attending, we ask that they register their attendance directly with Alison Paladino (apaladino@cabarrusncchamber.org) to ensure a smooth check-in process.
