Chamber Annual Awards
Each year, the Chamber proudly presents its Annual Awards during the Annual Meeting, recognizing the exceptional contributions of businesses, individuals, and organizations that make a significant impact in our community. These awards celebrate the dedication, innovation, and leadership that drive our local economy and enhance the quality of life for all residents of Cabarrus County.
Apply For An Annual Award
We encourage you to participate by nominating a deserving candidate in one of our award categories or even nominating yourself. This is an excellent opportunity to spotlight those who exemplify excellence and commitment to our community. Please note that all nominees must be active members of The Chamber to be eligible for consideration.
The Chamber Board of Directors directs the entire process for the Duke Energy Citizenship and Service Award and follows these steps:
- Suggestions of nominees are submitted for consideration to The Chamber’s Executive Committee.
- The Executive Committee discusses these nominees during their meeting (typically in November).
- The Executive Committee then puts forward its choice to the full Board of Directors, which makes the final decision on the award recipient.
If you have a nomination you’d like to contribute for the Duke Energy Citizenship and Service Award, please ensure it reaches The Chamber staff by October 1 so it can be considered for the subsequent award cycle.
The deadline for all Annual Awards applications is December 16, 2025.
