These events mark the official opening of new ventures, expansions, or relocations and provide an excellent opportunity for community members to show their support. What The Chamber does
- We invite the mayor’s office, city officials, the Chamber Board of Directors, and Chamber Ambassadors.
- We promote the event through member email newsletters and the Chamber website calendar.
- We help provide you with referrals from Chamber members for professional photography, catering, balloons, and more.
- We bring the giant scissors and ribbon.
Order Of Ceremony
- The entire ceremony takes approximately 5-10 minutes.
- First, a Chamber representative speaks; next, a city official (Mayor or City Council) speaks. Finally, you talk to the crowd. Share with everyone what makes your business unique. This is your time to celebrate your achievement.
- We will stage group photos and then count down to cut the ribbon. The Chamber team is happy to take pictures for you if you do not have a photographer.
