Held in partnership with Cabarrus County and Kannapolis City Schools, the Cabarrus County Career Connections Day (C4 Day) is no ordinary career fair. It is an interactive, hands-on day where students can explore potential careers and interact with local employers.

Join us for Cabarrus Connections, a morning networking opportunity designed to kickstart your day with valuable interactions and collaborations. In the evening, our Business After Hours events provide a relaxed atmosphere for networking with fellow business and community leaders. These events are perfect for building relationships, sharing ideas, and fostering partnerships that can help you thrive in your career.
Business After Hours
Business After Hours is our largest monthly networking event, providing a lively and welcoming setting. With an average attendance of 60–70 professionals, this evening gathering is perfect for those who enjoy casual conversations and a more energetic atmosphere.
Cabarrus Connections
Cabarrus Connections offers a more intimate, guided networking experience, typically drawing 20–25 attendees. This event combines open networking with small roundtable discussions, creating a comfortable and conversational environment that facilitates genuine relationships among attendees.
Women’s Programming Events
The Chamber strives to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable networking and engaging in professional development opportunities. Those seeking a space dedicated to female empowerment in business are welcome to join our Women’s Event Series! The series consists of three quarterly luncheons, Women Leading Cabarrus, and a half-day conference, Women in Business. Here’s what you can expect at each.
Women In Business
Women in Business is a half-day conference dedicated to professional development, replacing our third-quarter luncheon. Attendees can expect powerful keynote speakers, inspiring panel discussions from subject matter experts, and so much more!
Women Leading Cabarrus
Women Leading Cabarrus is held in the first, second, and fourth quarters. The location travels to showcase different venues across the county, and the program is specially curated for each meeting, ensuring attendees learn something new each time.

The Chamber hosts a variety of events, including networking mixers, educational workshops, community forums, and annual celebrations, to engage its members and the broader community.
Nonmembers are invited to preview the Chamber once at one of our monthly networking events – either Cabarrus Connections or Business After Hours. When you share business cards or flyers, you are representing your business, and doing so directly with someone you’ve had a genuine conversation with is the most professional approach. To be courteous to our host and maintain a professional atmosphere for everyone, please note that only hosts and sponsors are permitted to display materials on tables or other surfaces.
- Keeping the Focus on Networking: To ensure our events remain a comfortable and enjoyable space for all, we kindly request that all conversations stay focused on professional and business-related topics. For the enjoyment of everyone, we kindly ask that political campaigning, political or social issues, or related discussions be avoided.
- Respecting Our Host: The locations that host our events are generous in providing their space to our organization. Please be respectful of the venue and the time each event starts and ends.
- Registering Online: Registering your attendance online is a quick and easy way to help us prepare for each event. It ensures we have an accurate headcount and can give our hosts an idea of what to expect.
- Listening to Announcements: We have some incredible speakers and important announcements at our events. Please be courteous to the speaker by listening quietly during this time so everyone can hear the important news.
- Welcoming Our Guests: We welcome non-members to attend one Business After Hours or Cabarrus Connections event to experience the benefits of Chamber membership. If you would like to invite a guest to attend, we ask that they register their attendance directly with Alison Paladino to ensure a smooth check-in process.
