Business After Hours

Nonmembers are welcome to attend one networking event to preview what The Chamber has to offer. Registration is required.

The goal of our events is to create a welcoming and valuable environment where everyone can connect and thrive. To help us ensure our events are beneficial for all, we kindly ask everyone to keep these simple guidelines in mind.

1. Connecting with Purpose: We encourage you to form meaningful and lasting connections. When you share business cards or flyers, you are representing your business, and doing so directly with someone you’ve had a genuine conversation with is the most professional approach. To be courteous to our host and maintain a professional atmosphere for everyone, please note that only hosts and sponsors are permitted to display materials on tables or other surfaces.
2. Keeping the Focus on Networking: To ensure our events remain a comfortable and enjoyable space for all, we kindly request that all conversations stay focused on professional and business-related topics. For the enjoyment of everyone, we kindly ask that discussions about political campaigning, political or social issues, or related topics be avoided.
3. Thoughtful Dining: Our hosts provide excellent refreshments for everyone to enjoy. The refreshments are intended to be light bites, not a full dinner. Please be mindful when serving yourself and take only what you need, so that there’s plenty for all our attendees. Additionally, unless you are specifically invited to do so by the host, please refrain from preparing to-go plates or taking additional beverages with you when leaving the event.
4. Respecting Our Host: The locations that host our events are generous in providing their space to our organization. Please be respectful of the venue and remember that our Business After Hours events conclude promptly at the scheduled time of 6:30 PM.
5. Registering Online: Registering your attendance online is a quick and easy way to help us prepare for each event. It ensures we have an accurate headcount and can provide our hosts with an idea of what to expect.
6. Listening to Announcements: We have some incredible speakers and essential announcements at our events. Please be courteous to the speaker by listening quietly during this time so everyone can hear the critical news.
7. Welcoming Our Guests: We welcome non-members to attend one Business After Hours or Cabarrus Connections event as our guest to preview the benefits of Chamber membership. If you would like to invite a guest or if you would like to attend as a guest, we ask that you register directly with Alison Paladino (apaladino@cabarrusncchamber.org) to ensure a smooth check-in process.
