The Town of Harrisburg is pleased to announce the promotion of Maggie Peduto to Assistant Finance Director, effective January 27, 2025.

Maggie joined the Town of Harrisburg Finance Department in 2021 and has made significant contributions to the department’s growth and success. Her experience and expertise have played a key role in enhancing the department’s operations and ensuring the Town’s continued financial success.

Before joining the Town of Harrisburg, Maggie earned a double major in Accounting and Finance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She began her professional career as a Budget and Business Services Specialist and later served as a Business Analyst at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In 2021, she furthered her education by earning a master’s degree in project management from Western Carolina University. Most recently, Maggie achieved the designation of Certified Local Government Finance Officer, underscoring her commitment to excellence in local government finance.

Maggie relocated to Harrisburg in 2018 and has embraced the Town’s vibrant atmosphere, including its exceptional parks and engaging community events. Maggie is excited to continue contributing to the growth and success of Harrisburg in this new role.
