The Town of Harrisburg is pleased to announce the appointments and reappointments of members of various Town boards and committees. Members were presented and approved by the Town Council during the June 9, 2025, Council Meeting. Appointments by board and/or committee are as follows:
Planning & Zoning Board
The Planning & Zoning Board is comprised of seven voting members, including one member from the Town’s extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ), as well as one ex officio member. Each term lasts for two years. Members are eligible to serve for up to two terms.
Reappointments:
- Bill Leak (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027)
- Faith Silva (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027)
- Jessica Fava (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027)
New Appointments:
- Robbie Furr (Regular Member, July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027)
- Eeswar Chamarthi (ETJ Member, 1-year term to complete the unexpired term of Steven Larson, July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026)
- O’Hentrice Love (Ex Officio Member, July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027)
Board of Adjustment
The Board of Adjustment is responsible for hearing and deciding appeals and variances relating to zoning regulations.
Reappointments:
- Monica Long (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2028)
New Appointments:
- Kayla Stafford (Alternate Member, July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2028)
- Eeswar Chamarthi (ETJ Member, 1-year term to complete the unexpired term of Steven Larson, July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026)
Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board plays a vital role in advising on the planning and development of recreational facilities and programming in the community.
Reappointments:
- Brett Crosby (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027)
- Cheryl Baker (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027)
- Courtney Haynes (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027)
New Appointments:
- Micah Cash (Ex Officio Member, July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027)
Harrisburg Arts, Culture, & Heritage Committee
The Harrisburg Arts, Culture & Heritage Committee (HACH) is committed to promoting and celebrating Harrisburg’s artistic, cultural, and historical identity.
New Appointments:
- Kamaron Moore (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027)
- Karli Cornett (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027)
- Nelly Macharia (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027)
