A New Chapter for Momentec Brands
Momentec Brands was officially formed in March 2024 after investment firm Platinum Equity merged Augusta Sportswear Brands and Founder Sport Group. The newly established company brought together decades of experience and expertise in apparel, team uniforms, headwear, and accessories.
As part of its growth, Momentec Brands consolidated its physical distribution facilities into one unified facility in Kannapolis. The facility opened in July 2026, representing a significant step forward for the company as it builds its future under the Momentec Brands name.
The ribbon cutting provided an opportunity to celebrate this new chapter and the many people and defining moments that have shaped the company along the way.
