When you share business cards or flyers, you are representing your business, and doing so directly with someone you’ve had a genuine conversation with is the most professional approach. To be courteous to our host and maintain a professional atmosphere for everyone, please note that only hosts and sponsors are permitted to display materials on tables or other surfaces.
  2. Keeping the Focus on Networking: To ensure our events remain a comfortable and enjoyable space for all, we kindly request that all conversations stay focused on professional and business-related topics. For the enjoyment of everyone, we kindly ask that political campaigning, political or social issues, or related discussions be avoided.
  3. Respecting Our Host: The locations that host our events are generous in providing their space to our organization. Please be respectful of the venue and the time each event starts and ends.
  4. Registering Online: Registering your attendance online is a quick and easy way to help us prepare for each event. It ensures we have an accurate headcount and can give our hosts an idea of what to expect.
  5. Listening to Announcements: We have some incredible speakers and important announcements at our events. Please be courteous to the speaker by listening quietly during this time so everyone can hear the important news.
  6. Welcoming Our Guests: We welcome non-members to attend one Business After Hours or Cabarrus Connections event to experience the benefits of Chamber membership. If you would like to invite a guest to attend, we ask that they register their attendance directly with Alison Paladino to ensure a smooth check-in process.
