The Cabarrus Regional Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated the grand opening of Engatherings with a ribbon cutting, welcoming a new intimate event space to the local business community.
Established in 2024 and officially opened on September 5, 2026, Engatherings was created by owner Jacqueline Skeen to expand her event planning services and provide a warm, inviting space where people can celebrate life’s special moments together.
A Space for Meaningful Gatherings
Engatherings was built around a simple belief: every gathering should be held with love.
The intimate event space features warm exposed brick and is designed to host weddings, showers, celebrations, and gatherings of all kinds. Rather than simply providing a rented room, Engatherings aims to create a space that feels like an extension of each client’s celebration.
From the first consultation through the final guest leaving, the team works to support clients throughout the event experience.

Jacqueline brings 23 years of experience in event planning to Engatherings. After years in the industry, she created the business as a way to expand her event planning services while offering clients a dedicated space for their celebrations.
Engatherings offers a variety of services to help bring events together, including event space, décor, linens, and backdrops.
With these services available in one place, clients can create an event that reflects their vision while having support from an experienced event professional.
Building Community Connections
Engatherings joined the Cabarrus Chamber in July 2026 as part of its commitment to building relationships within the local business community.
Through Chamber membership, Jacqueline hopes to develop positive business relationships, collaborate with other local businesses, and receive and provide community support.
As Engatherings begins this new chapter, the business is focused on becoming a welcoming destination for celebrations and meaningful moments throughout the community.
