The Cabarrus Chamber recently celebrated the grand opening of Cynchrony Women’s Wellness with a ribbon cutting, welcoming a new women-focused wellness studio to Downtown Concord.
Founded by Cynthia Sinclair, Cynchrony Women’s Wellness officially opened on July 30, 2026, with a mission to create a safe, supportive space where women can prioritize their physical and mental well-being through movement, connection, and community.
A Vision Rooted in the Community
A Concord native, Cynthia’s roots run deep in Cabarrus County. In fact, the home where her family lived when she was born was located on Union Street—the very same street where Cynchrony Women’s Wellness now welcomes women from across the community.
After years of practicing yoga and experiencing the challenges many women face in traditional fitness environments, Cynthia was inspired to create a dedicated wellness space designed exclusively for women. Her goal was to offer a place where women could move confidently, build strength, and support one another in an environment free from judgment or distraction.
Wellness Designed for Women
Cynchrony Women’s Wellness offers a variety of classes led by certified female instructors, including:
- Mat Pilates
- Yoga
- Barre
The studio also features private sauna sessions, providing members with opportunities to relax, recover, and focus on overall wellness.
Both memberships and drop-in classes are available, making it easy for women of all experience levels to find a routine that fits their lifestyle.
Experienced Leadership
Cynthia is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through Yoga Alliance and has been practicing yoga since the age of 14. Her background in dance and gymnastics influences her teaching style, blending strength, flexibility, balance, and mindful movement into every class.
Building Community Through Wellness
Cynchrony Women’s Wellness has already received attention from The Cabarrus Compass, highlighting Cynthia’s vision of bringing a women-only wellness space to Concord.
By joining the Cabarrus Chamber, Cynthia hopes to build meaningful relationships with fellow local business owners, create collaborative partnerships, and introduce more women throughout Cabarrus County to the benefits of movement, wellness, and community.
The Cabarrus Chamber congratulates Cynthia Sinclair and the entire Cynchrony Women’s Wellness team on their grand opening. We are excited to welcome this unique addition to Downtown Concord and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on women throughout our community.
