Cabarrus College’s Online and Hybrid Degrees Promote Career Advancement

Cabarrus College of Health Sciences continues to expand its online and hybrid degree programs, offering new options to accelerate careers for clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals, locally and beyond.

Opening the door to new opportunities in the workplace

The college’s most recent offering includes two new tracks — Clinical Research and Healthcare Leadership — in addition to the existing Education and Training track in its online Master of Science in Health Sciences program. Other online degrees include master’s and bachelor’s degrees in nursing, a bachelor’s completion degree in Health Sciences Leadership and Development, and a hybrid Master of Occupational Therapy degree.

“Our online degrees for nurses and non-clinical healthcare professionals provide education and skills that open the door to new opportunities in the workplace,” said Chris Corsello, Cabarrus College dean of student affairs and enrollment management. “We’re seeing tremendous demand for these types of programs because the flexibility of online classes enables working professionals to maintain work/life balance while pursuing additional education.”

Some of the college’s online programs include practicums or internships, which can be completed from anywhere, making them convenient and feasible regardless of the student’s physical location.
