With this increase, Cabarrus County ranks 12th in total visitor spending among North Carolina’s 100 counties. Total visitor spending in North Carolina reached $37.2 billion in 2025, a 1.3% increase over 2024.

Their spending generates meaningful economic impact, creates jobs for residents, and contributes to tax savings that benefit families throughout Cabarrus County.”
