Welcome to the Cabarrus Regional Chamber of Commerce website (“The Chamber”, “we” or “us”). The following terms and conditions, together with any documents they expressly incorporate by reference (collectively, these “Terms of Use”), govern your access to and use of cabarrusncchamber.org, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through such Website, whether as a guest or a registered user.

Revised: May 15, 2025

Acceptance of the Terms of Use

Please read the Terms of Use carefully before using the Website. By using the Website, you acknowledge and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy, found at https://cabarrusncchamber.org/privacy-policy, incorporated herein by reference, and that you have the authority to be bound by these Terms of Use, on your and/or the company for which you are an employee or agent.

Suppose you do not want to agree to these Terms of Use or the Privacy Policy. In that case, you are prohibited from accessing or using the Website. This Website is offered and available to users who are 18 years of age or older. By using this Website, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract with The Chamber.

Information Collected

We collect non-personally identifiable information about you in various ways, depending on what you do when visiting our Site.

Suppose you visit our website to read or download information. In that case, we collect and store only the following data about you: the name of the domain from which you access the Internet, the date and time you access our Site, and the Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to our Site. We use the information we collect to measure the number of visitors to the different sections of our website and to help us make our website more useful to visitors.

You may decide to send us personally identifying information on your own initiative. For example, you may include such information in an electronic mail message or subscribe to our email list. Additionally, there may be times when we request that you provide us with personally identifying information about yourself, such as your name, email address, telephone number, address, organization name, and products/services sold.

Whether or not you provide such information is completely your own choice. However, we have chosen not to provide the information that we requested. As a result, you may be unable to purchase products or access certain services, offers, and content on the Chamber’s website.

Refund & Return Policy

Suppose a cancellation on a Chamber event/program is received 72 hours before the event. In that case, the amount will be fully refunded or credited to the account for use on a future event/program; refunds are unavailable on cancellations received with less than 72 hours of notice.

Changes to the Terms of Use

We may revise and update these Terms of Use from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them and apply to all access to and use of the Website thereafter. However, any changes to the dispute resolution provisions outlined in Governing Law and Jurisdiction will not apply to any disputes for which the parties have actual notice on or before the date the change is posted on the Website.

Your continued use of the Website following the posting of revised Terms of Use means that you accept and agree to the changes. You are expected to check this page each time you access this Website to be aware of any changes, as they are binding on you. We may also notify you of revised Terms of Use upon entry to the Website as prominently displayed or via other communications (e.g., electronic mail, dealer agreements, etc.).
